How does the membership work?

You can join the membership scheme using our direct debit form linked below. Once you have joined the membership scheme, you accrue credit with the practice towards your examination and hygiene visits.

Your first dental examination or hygiene visit at the practice is not included in the membership scheme and is charged at our usual dental charges.

Becoming a member is quick and simple

You can set up your monthly Direct Debit payment by following the links above, or at reception or by getting in touch with the practice. Please note, an £8 registration fee will also be collected with your first month’s collection.

Global Dental A & E Assistance Scheme

Our dental plans include access to a Global Dental Accident and Emergency Assistance Scheme. The Scheme is established to offer support to patients who request assistance or treatment following an accident, a dental emergency or diagnosed with mouth cancer.

Whilst the scheme aims to provide benefits in most cases, the scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insurance scheme. It has no obligation to provide benefits and the Scheme Manager will look at each request individually to decide whether or not to provide benefits.

    I have been a patient at the Vallance centre since I was a child when Dr Mellor had a small practice on Brunswick street. I was referred for braces back then but didn’t take up the offer (stupidly). Having never had a confident smile I took up the Vallance centres deal on clear aligner braces. Our practice is situated on the 1st Floor of The Vallance Centre and equipped with new state of the art equipment. Our premises and surgeries are accessible to wheelchairs and there is a disabled toilet.

If you require an appointment or need to rearrange an appointment you have booked please telephone our receptionists to ensure this is done promptly. We are able to offer appointments by email, however due to the delay in confirmation in booking via email we recommend this only for appointments 2 weeks or more in advance. If cancelling appointments via email we require 48 hours notice. Please contact us on the above email address.
