Cosmetic Dentistry Prices

The cost of cosmetic dentistry can vary on quite a large scale depending upon your requirements. The same also applies to the time required. For example, you can improve your smile from as little as £250 using tooth whitening over 2 short appointments. However, if you need to remove and replace multiple teeth across your entire mouth then this treatment may cost in excess of £10,000 and take multiple appointments and sometimes take a whole year to reach the final desired result.

    I have been a patient at the Vallance centre since I was a child when Dr Mellor had a small practice on Brunswick street. I was referred for braces back then but didn’t take up the offer (stupidly). Having never had a confident smile I took up the Vallance centres deal on clear aligner braces. The whole process has been smooth, each step explained along the way and I can already see improvements in such a small amount of time.     Arfeen Aslam

    Dr. Arfeen Aslam graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, King’s College London and obtained his membership of the faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. He has completed various postgraduate dental courses including a certificate in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, becoming a certified provider of a wide range of orthodontic treatments and completing a year long programme in implant placement and restoration. Along with a caring, ethical approach he strives to make a difference to each and every person that he treats.     Cosmetic Dentistry is a broad term that includes any treatment which involves improvement of the appearance of the teeth and smile. This can include everything from straightforward whitening cases, to replacing all the teeth in the mouth.

  • What is the difference between Cosmetic and General Dentistry?

    General dentistry focuses on the function of the teeth, but cosmetic dentistry the focus is on both the function and the appearance. Cosmetic Dentistry isn’t taught in detail at University and dentists often embark on lengthy postgraduate courses if they choose to focus on providing high quality cosmetic treatments.

  • Who Needs Cosmetic Dentistry?

    No one strictly needs cosmetic dentistry, however many of us are unhappy with aspects of our smile which can affect confidence. If a patient is looking to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile then they would benefit from cosmetic dental treatment

  • How Long Does Cosmetic Dentistry Last for?

    It is difficult to answer such a broad question as it depends upon the treatment. Some treatments like straightening with braces can last for life but require regular wear of retainers to keep the teeth in their new position. Anything that replaces or repairs a tooth will have a time when it will need replacement or refreshing. For example, if a patient looks after a dental implant really well, it can last over 20 years. Some treatments like composite bonding may need refreshing every 5 years.

  • What Is the Benefit of Cosmetic Dentistry?
